DESCRIPTION

The AZ983-1C-12DE is an 80 Amp mini-ISO automotive relay designed for high-current switching applications in automotive environments. This SPDT (1 Form C) relay features a 12 VDC nominal coil voltage with a coil resistance of 80 O and operates at a maximum continuous voltage of 15.6 VDC. The relay delivers a maximum switched power of 840 W and maximum switched current of 60 A at 75 VDC maximum, with silver tin oxide contacts providing low contact resistance of less than 50 milliohms. Operating characteristics include a 7 ms typical operate time and 5 ms typical release time, with a mechanical life expectancy of 1×107 operations and electrical life of 1×105 operations at 80 A and 14 VDC. The relay operates reliably across an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, features PCB terminals with copper alloy construction, and is housed in a PA enclosure rated UL94: V-0. This relay is ideal for automotive control systems, power distribution, and high-current switching applications requiring robust performance and long operational life.
