DESCRIPTION

The L717SDA15P1ACH3F is a right-angle, board-mount D-Sub connector featuring 15 contacts with stamped and formed contacts, designed to meet MIL C24308 and NFC 93425-HE5 standards. The connector utilizes brass pin contacts and phosphor bronze socket contacts with selective gold plating in the mating area (2.54 µm minimum tin on termination over 1.27 µm minimum nickel), combined with a glass-filled thermoplastic insulator (UL 94V-0) and steel shell for durability. It is rated for 5A current and features a 4-finger phosphor bronze boardlock for secure PCB mounting. The mating force for the 15-contact configuration is 5.09 kg maximum (A4 style) or 7.7 kg maximum (1A style), with unmating forces of 0.46 kg minimum and 0.5 kg minimum respectively. This connector is ideal for industrial, telecom, and standard I/O applications requiring economical, reliable interconnection solutions.
