DESCRIPTION

The 68683-307LF is a double-row vertical card connector assembly designed for PCB-to-board interconnection applications. This connector features a 2×7 position configuration (14 total contacts) with phosphor bronze terminals and a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) filled housing in black, rated UL 94V-0 flame retardant. The contact area is plated with 30 µin/76 µm gold minimum over 50 µin/1.27 µm nickel minimum, while solder tails receive 100 µin/160 µm tin plating at 2.54 µm/4.06 µm thickness. The connector is lead-free (LF suffix) and withstands peak temperatures of 260 °C for 20 seconds during wave solder, infrared, or vapor phase soldering processes. Recommended mating pins are 0.025 inch/0.64 mm square on true center with spacings within 0.015 inch/0.38 mm diameter, and the suggested PCB board thickness is 0.062 inch/1.58 mm. This product is commonly used in industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and consumer electronics requiring reliable dual-row card-edge connections.
