DESCRIPTION

The 71918-108LF is a shrouded electrical header connector featuring a 2x4 (2-row by 4-column) configuration designed for reliable PCB interconnection. The connector is constructed with glass-filled thermoplastic housing (UL94V-0) and phosphor bronze pins, offering multiple latching options (0, 1, 2, 5, 6, or T) to suit various application requirements. The product features lead-free plating with 2 µm minimum matte tin over 1.27 µm minimum nickel underplate, ensuring RoHS compliance and compatibility with wave solder applications at 260°C ±5°C for 5 seconds on 1.6 mm minimum thick circuit boards. The connector supports both standard and low-profile latch configurations with dimension A options of 2.9 mm or 3.94 mm, and includes polarization features on select pin positions. This connector is ideal for applications requiring secure, polarized interconnections in industrial, telecommunications, and consumer electronics equipment where durability and compliance with environmental standards are essential.
