DESCRIPTION

The 242A10470X is a D-SUB C-filter female connector featuring 25 positions with straight solder pins and a threaded rear spacer designed for PCB mounting. The connector is constructed with a steel metal shell featuring a minimum of 315 µin tin plating over 40–80 µin nickel, and a high-temperature plastic insulator (UL 94 V-0, black) with copper alloy contacts. Key electrical characteristics include a capacitance of 830 pF ± 20% and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 424 VDC, with contact tails pretinned for reliable soldering. The connector utilizes a 4-40 UNC threaded rear spacer and is suitable for wave soldering at 260°C for 5 seconds with 100°C preheat, making it ideal for industrial and telecommunications applications requiring robust, filtered signal transmission.
