DESCRIPTION

The D38999/32Z13N is a metal dust cap assembly designed to protect MIL-DTL-38999 Series III plug connectors. This model is for a shell size 13 connector and features a Class Z black zinc nickel finish. The cover is constructed from a machined aluminum alloy with a silicone elastomer gasket and is supplied with a stainless steel, teflon-coated rope. The assembly is designed to withstand a 200°C environment. These dust caps are used to prevent contamination and damage to the connector interface when it is not mated, ensuring reliability in harsh military and aerospace applications.
