DESCRIPTION

JAND38999/33Z15R is a QPL-approved receptacle dust cap designed to protect unmated MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors by providing environmental protection and keeping impurities out of the termination area. This dust cap features a shell size 15 with aluminum alloy construction and black zinc nickel (Z) finish per ASTM B841, Type D, offering 500 hours of salt spray resistance and electrical conductivity. The "R" style designation indicates it includes a stainless steel rope lanyard for secure attachment. With an operating temperature range of -65°C to +175°C and RoHS compliance, this dust cap is suitable for demanding aerospace and military applications where reliable connector protection is essential.
