DESCRIPTION

M85049/49-2-22N is a QPL strain relief clamp backshell designed for use with circular connectors in military and aerospace applications. This straight-configuration backshell is constructed from aluminum alloy and stainless steel with an electroless nickel (N) finish, providing corrosion resistance and durability. The accessory shell size 22 corresponds to a cable entry diameter of 1.375 inches (34.93 mm) with a maximum B dimension of 1.578 inches (40.1 mm). Designed to meet MIL-DTL-85049 requirements, this backshell provides strain relief and mechanical protection at the connector termination area, making it ideal for harsh and demanding environments in military, aerospace, and industrial applications.
