DESCRIPTION

AWM-2P is a 2-position heavy-duty thermoplastic connector from the ATM Series, designed for industrial applications requiring robust environmental sealing and reliable electrical connections. The connector features an IP68 and IP69K rating in mated condition, a maximum current rating of 7.5A, and a maximum voltage rating of 250V, with an integrated latching system ensuring definitive electrical and mechanical connection. The housing is constructed from thermoplastic material (UL94-VO) with excellent UV resistance and superior environmental seal retention, while contacts are made from copper alloy with nickel plating and optional gold plating. Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, the connector supports wire ranges of 16-22 AWG and maintains insulation resistance of 1000 megohms minimum at 25°C. This connector is ideal for marine, heavy equipment, agricultural, automotive, and alternative energy applications where harsh environmental conditions and reliable interconnection are critical requirements.
