DESCRIPTION

The 644H is a double-pole high-amperage toggle switch designed for robust panel-mounted applications requiring simultaneous switching of two independent circuits. It features a metal lever with a 33° angle of throw and ON-ON electrical function across all four poles (A, B, C, D), enabling independent control of two separate loads. The switch is rated for a peak current of 30 A maximum during 1/2 sine at 250 VAC, with a maximum continuous current/voltage rating of 15 A at 250 VAC for ON-OFF function and 10 A at 24 VDC for ON-ON function, delivering 10,000 electrical cycles at full load. It exhibits an initial contact resistance of 10 mO maximum, insulation resistance of 1,000 MO minimum at 500 VDC, and dielectric strength of 2,000 Vrms between terminals and 2,500 Vrms between terminals and frame. The switch operates reliably across -20 °C to +55 °C and is constructed with a polyester UL94-V0 case, nickel-plated brass actuator and bushing, and silver/nickel alloy contacts. It is approved to UL 1054, CSA 22-2, and EN 61058-1 standards, making it suitable for industrial control panels, machinery, and high-current switching applications.
