DESCRIPTION

HT45S42C is a desktop trackball designed for ergonomic and ambidextrous cursor control using non-contacting optical encoders and USB 2.0 protocol. The device features a 2.25-inch diameter thermoset phenolic ball with polished stainless steel shaft and encased stainless steel bearings, rated for 5,000,000 rotations with 6 ounces of vertical force. It operates over a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C with USB input specifications of 4.75V to 5.25V at 25 mA maximum. The trackball measures 5.0" W × 5.5" D × 2.7" H with a mass of 460 grams and offers 360° ball rotation with an 11-gram tracking force. This device is suitable for applications requiring precise cursor positioning, accessibility needs, and extended desktop use where traditional mice may cause strain.
