DESCRIPTION

MJTP1138 is an ultra-compact 6mm surface-mount momentary tactile pushbutton switch designed for high-reliability applications requiring excellent tactile feedback. The switch features a snap dome mechanism with a plunger travel of 0.25 mm (+0.2, -0.1 mm) and an actuation force of 160 grams ±30 grams, providing responsive user feedback. Electrically, it is rated for 50 mA at 12 VDC with a contact resistance of 100 milliohms maximum at 5 VDC and 10 mA, an insulation resistance of 100 megohms minimum at 100 VDC, and a dielectric withstanding voltage of 250 VAC for 1 minute. The switch offers an electrical life of 100,000 cycles minimum with contact bounce less than 10 milliseconds, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. Its molded-in terminals minimize flux wicking, and the high-temperature nylon case with silver-plated brass terminals ensures durability and corrosion resistance. MJTP1138 is ideal for consumer electronics, industrial control panels, medical devices, and telecommunications equipment where compact size, reliability, and tactile feedback are essential.
