DESCRIPTION

MJTP1162ATR is an ultra-compact 6mm surface-mount momentary tactile pushbutton switch featuring single pole-single throw (SPST) configuration with excellent snap dome tactile feedback. The switch is constructed with a high-temperature nylon case, PET film cover with tin-plated brass bracket, silver-plated brass terminals, and phosphor bronze shorting contacts with silver plating. It delivers a contact rating of 50 mA at 12 VDC, insulation resistance of 100 megohms minimum at 100 VDC, and contact resistance of 100 milliohms maximum at 5 VDC with 10 mA current. The device operates reliably over a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C with an electrical life of 100,000 cycles minimum, molded-in terminals to minimize flux wicking, and is supplied on tape and reel packaging with 1600 units per reel. This switch is ideal for consumer electronics, industrial control panels, and portable devices requiring compact, reliable momentary switching with superior tactile feedback.
