DESCRIPTION

15422738 is an unsealed female terminal from the APTIV APEX 2.8 series, designed for heavy-duty electrical connections. This two-piece construction terminal features a 2.8 mm blade size with tin (Sn) plating and is compatible with 12 AWG (3.0 mm²) wire. It offers low contact resistance of less than 2 mO, contact mating force below 5 N, and contact unmating force below 2 N for reliable performance. The terminal utilizes a tangless/lanceless locking mechanism and an integrated floating spring made of beryllium copper or copper nickel silicon. It is compatible with APEX 2.8 Unsealed, Sealed, Mixed, ErgoMate, and SensaMate series housings, making it suitable for automotive and industrial applications requiring high current ratings.
