DESCRIPTION

The 15489904 is an electrical terminal from the APEX® 2.8 series, designed for high-current connections. As part of this family, it features a two-piece, tangless box-and-blade design with an integrated floating spring, ensuring a low contact mating force of less than 5 N and a contact resistance below 2 mΩ. The APEX® 2.8 series supports a wide wire gauge range from 22 to 10 AWG (0.35 to 6.0 mm²), can handle currents up to 40 A, and operates at temperatures up to 150°C. These terminals are suitable for various unsealed, mat-sealed, and cable-sealed applications in demanding environments where robust and reliable performance is critical.
