DESCRIPTION

36-6823-90T is a Series 800 Vertisocket designed for horizontal mounting with bifurcated contacts, suitable for DIP packaging applications. This socket features a 0.600 inch (15.24 mm) center spacing with matte tin plating (200µ" min over 50µ" min nickel) and is constructed with black UL 94V-0 4/6 Nylon body material and Grade A spring-tempered Phosphor Bronze contacts. The socket provides a contact current rating of 1.5 Amps, an operating temperature of 221°F (105°C), and accepts flat leads up to 0.014 inch thick and 0.020 inch wide or round leads up to 0.020 inch diameter. Common applications include mounting LEDs, incandescent displays, DIP switches, and test points, with restricted entry design providing contact protection.
