DESCRIPTION
The 73-690-0001 is an iMP1 intelligent modular power system designed as an AC input to DC output configurable platform with a microprocessor-controlled power factor correction (PFC) front end. It features seven slots that accept intelligent DC-DC converter modules with single, dual, or triple outputs ranging from 2 V to 60 V, with maximum output power up to 1500 watts. The system supports full medical EN60601 approval, intelligent I²C control for voltage adjustment on all outputs, configurable input/output OK signals, and intelligent fan speed control with fault status monitoring. Key technical capabilities include reverse voltage protection at 100% of rated output current, thermal protection with configurable thresholds, remote sense capability up to 0.5 V total drop, single-wire parallel current sharing to within 2% of total rated current, and switching frequency of 250 kHz with external sync capability. The system operates over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +70°C with derating of 2.5% per degree from 50°C to 70°C, and demonstrates MTBF greater than 550,000 hours at full load, 220 Vac, and 25°C ambient conditions.
