DESCRIPTION

The AEE08A36-L is a 40-watt DC/DC converter designed for industrial and telecommunications applications requiring high reliability and isolation. It accepts an input voltage range of 18–75 Vdc and delivers a regulated 5 V output at 8 A maximum, with a typical efficiency of 90%. The converter features 1500 Vdc input/output isolation, comprehensive protection against overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature conditions, and operates reliably over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with derating. Housed in a compact 1" × 2" DIP package with an aluminum alloy enclosure, it includes remote On/Off control and is ideal for ruggedized applications in industrial automation, instrumentation, test and measurement, and telecommunications environments.
