DESCRIPTION
ASA00AA18-LS is a dual-output isolated DC-DC converter from the Artesyn ASA series designed for applications requiring symmetric positive and negative voltage rails. The converter accepts an input voltage range of 9 to 36 Vdc and delivers +5 V at 0.50 A and -5 V at 0.50 A, with a maximum power output of 5 W. It features 1500 Vdc input-to-output isolation, operates at 200 kHz switching frequency, and achieves 81% efficiency at nominal input voltage and maximum output current. The fully encapsulated metal case measures 31.75 × 20.32 × 10.16 mm (1.25 × 0.80 × 0.40 inches) and operates reliably across -40°C to +71°C without derating, with demonstrated MTBF of 1 million hours. This converter is ideal for ruggedized applications in harsh environments, telecommunications, industrial systems, and any application requiring compact, isolated dual-rail power supplies.
