DESCRIPTION

The CNS653-MF is a 650W single-output AC-DC power supply from Advanced Energy's Artesyn CNS650-M series, designed for industrial and medical applications requiring compact, high-density power delivery. This open-frame model provides a 12V output with +15% trim range (12–13.8V) and accepts universal AC input from 90 to 264VAC, delivering up to 400W continuous power with natural convection cooling and up to 650W with 400 LFM forced-air cooling. The unit features a compact 4" × 6" × 1.54" U-Channel construction with integrated 12V fan output (1.0A forced-air, 0.5A natural convection) and 5V standby output, along with PMBus interface, active current sharing, dual fusing, and comprehensive medical/ITE safety certifications including UL 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1. With ±2% output regulation, 120mV peak-to-peak ripple, and maximum continuous load of 30.8A (natural convection) or 54.2A (forced-air), the CNS653-MF is ideal for systems requiring reliable, regulated power in space-constrained environments with medical or industrial safety requirements.
