DESCRIPTION

1696B is a compact 200 W programmable DC power supply designed for benchtop applications requiring precise voltage and current control. It provides an output voltage range of 1 to 20 V and current range of 0 to 10 A, with 10 mV voltage resolution and 1 mA current resolution for programming and readback. The unit features a back-lit LCD with 4-digit resolution displaying voltage, current, and power measurements simultaneously, along with a numeric keypad and rotary control knob for convenient operation. Protection features include overvoltage (OVP), overcurrent (OCP), and overtemperature (OTP), with USB and RS485 interfaces supporting SCPI commands for remote control of up to 31 power supplies. This power supply is suitable for repetitive test routines in R&D, production testing, product evaluation, and education environments.
