DESCRIPTION

8614 is a programmable DC electronic load from the 8600 Series, designed for testing and evaluating DC power sources such as power supplies, DC-DC converters, batteries, and photovoltaic arrays. It features a 1500 W power rating with an input voltage range of 0-120 V and a rated current capacity of 0-240 A, housed in a 3U form factor. The load operates in constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR), and constant power (CW) modes with 16-bit measurement resolution and fast transient operation speeds. It includes standard USB (USBTMC-compliant), RS232, and GPIB interfaces supporting SCPI commands, along with built-in battery test function, CR-LED mode for LED driver testing, and comprehensive protection features including OVP/OCP/OPP/OTP. The 8614 is ideal for production testing, R&D validation, and quality assurance applications requiring precise load simulation and measurement.
