DESCRIPTION

MDL4U505 is a single-channel modular programmable DC electronic load module designed for testing a wide range of power sources including multi-output DC power supplies, batteries, fuel cells, and photovoltaic arrays. It features an input voltage range of 0 to 500 V, input current range of 0 to 30 A, and power rating of 500 W, with a minimum operating voltage of 5.4 V at 30 A. The module supports CC, CV, CR, CW, and CZ operating modes with DSP technology to simulate non-linear loads and realistic loading behavior. It offers 16-bit voltage and current measurement resolution, transient mode up to 25 kHz, adjustable slew rate in CC mode, and comprehensive protection including OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP, and reverse voltage protection. The MDL4U505 is ideal for high-voltage applications requiring precise load testing and integrates seamlessly with the MDL4U mainframe system via standard LAN, GPIB, USB, and RS232 interfaces with SCPI protocol support.
