DESCRIPTION

The 01002-10650 is a 2.5-inch solid shaft incremental encoder from the H25 family, designed for industrial automation and hazardous location environments. It features EMI shielding, high-precision ball bearings, and matched thermal coefficients on critical components to ensure reliable operation across a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The encoder supports multiple standard resolutions from 1 to 2500 ppr, with configurable output channels (A, AB, ABZ, or AZ) and optional complementary outputs. It meets IP66 sealing requirements when ordered with shaft seal and is available with various connector options (M18, M16, M12) and voltage configurations (5-15V or 5-28V). The H25 is certified for hazardous locations with intrinsically safe (Ex ia IIC T4 Ga) and non-incendive (Ex ec IIC T3 Gc) ratings, making it suitable for machine control, automation systems, and safety-critical applications in ordinary and explosive atmospheres.
