DESCRIPTION

The 8281F-VIVID-MATTE-BLK-500 is a 75 Ohm RG-59 analog video coaxial cable designed for standard analog video applications. It features a 21 AWG (7x29) bare copper compacted conductor that combines impedance uniformity with kink-resistance, polyethylene insulation with a nominal diameter of 0.193 inches, and a double layer 95% tinned copper braid shield for superior electromagnetic protection. The cable has an overall nominal diameter of 0.304 inches, a characteristic impedance of 75 Ohms, and a velocity of propagation of 66%. It operates reliably over a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C with a minimum installation bend radius of 3.0 inches and a maximum pull tension of 168 lbs. This cable is ideal for indoor video distribution systems, aerial installations when supported by messenger wire, and applications requiring robust shielding and consistent signal integrity across the analog video frequency spectrum.
