DESCRIPTION

The 8457-CHR-100 is a 12-conductor multi-conductor cable designed for audio, control, and instrumentation applications. It features 22 AWG stranded (7x30) tinned copper conductors with PVC insulation (0.010 in. wall thickness) and a PVC outer jacket (0.032 in. wall thickness), providing robust protection and reliable signal transmission. The cable has an overall nominal diameter of 0.272 in., a cabling lay length of 3.26 in., and operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C with a UL temperature rating of 80°C. Electrical characteristics include a DC resistance of 15.6 Ohm/1000 ft at 20°C, nominal inductance of 0.17 µH/ft, and capacitance of 34 pF/ft conductor-to-conductor, with a maximum recommended current of 2.1 Amps per conductor at 25°C and maximum operating voltage of 150 V RMS (UL AWM Style 2576).
