DESCRIPTION

The 8522-BLK-100 is a low-temperature plastic lead wire featuring 18 AWG tinned copper conductor with 16x30 stranding and PVC insulation, compliant with MIL-W-76C specifications. The wire is rated for 1000V RMS with a maximum operating temperature of 80°C and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C. It has a nominal conductor DC resistance of 6.35 Ohm/1000ft, a nominal insulation diameter of 0.08 inches with 0.017 inches wall thickness, and supports a maximum recommended current of 16 amps in free air at 30°C ambient. This wire is ideal for low-temperature applications in industrial equipment, control circuits, and general-purpose wiring where reliable insulation and tinned copper conductivity are required, with the added benefit of RoHS and EU directive compliance.
