DESCRIPTION

The 9939-CHR-100 is a computer EIA-RS-232 cable designed for reliable serial data communication applications. It features 22 AWG stranded (7x30) tinned copper conductors with semi-rigid PVC insulation (0.011 in nominal wall thickness) and a comprehensive dual-layer shield consisting of Beldfoil® (100% coverage) and tinned copper braid (65% coverage), all enclosed in a PVC jacket (0.202 in nominal diameter, 0.035 in wall thickness). The cable delivers a nominal conductor DC resistance of 14.7 Ohm/1000ft and supports a maximum recommended current of 3 amps per conductor at 25°C, with a UL voltage rating of 300 V RMS and operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C. This cable meets UL AWM Style 2464 specifications and is compliant with CMG standards, making it suitable for industrial control systems, computer peripherals, and instrumentation where robust shielding and reliable signal integrity are essential.
