DESCRIPTION

The 9941-CHR-100 is a computer EIA-RS-232 cable designed for serial communications and low-voltage signal applications. It features 22 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors (7x30 stranding) with 5 conductors, semi-rigid PVC insulation with 0.011 in nominal wall thickness, and dual shielding consisting of Beldfoil (100% coverage) and tinned copper braid (70% coverage). The cable has a PVC jacket with 0.23 in nominal diameter and 0.035 in wall thickness, rated for 300 V RMS at 80°C with a maximum recommended current of 2.4 A per conductor. This cable is suitable for RS-232 applications, computer communications, low-voltage analog signals (4-20 mA, 0-10 V), low-voltage digital control (24 V), line-level audio, and panel wiring, with compliance to UL AWM Style 2464, CMG specification, and EU RoHS standards.
