DESCRIPTION
The 68XR1KLF is a 3/8" square multiturn cermet trimming potentiometer designed for precision resistance adjustment applications. It features a 20-turn nominal electrical travel with essentially infinite resolution, supporting a standard resistance range from 10 Ohms to 2 Megohms with ±10% tolerance (±20% for resistances below 100 Ohms). The device operates at a maximum input voltage of 200 Vdc or rms, with a maximum slider current of 100 mA and a power rating of 0.5 Watts at 85°C. It is sealed with 85°C Fluorinert for protection against leaks and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 ppm/°C (±250 ppm/°C for resistances below 100 Ohms). The potentiometer exhibits excellent environmental stability, withstanding thermal shock, moisture resistance, vibration up to 20 G's, and shock loads of 100 G's, making it suitable for precision instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and industrial control applications where reliable fine-tuning and long-term stability are essential.
