DESCRIPTION

EN16-H20AF15 is a 16 mm rotary encoder from the EN16 Series featuring 2-bit gray code incremental output with a top-adjust PCB pin configuration and metal bushing/shaft design. The encoder offers selectable pulse rates of 12 or 24 pulses per revolution with a maximum operating speed of 100 RPM, closed circuit resistance of 3 Ohms maximum, and contact rating of 0.5 mA at 5 Vdc. It operates continuously over a temperature range of -30°C to +85°C with a rotational life of 30,000 cycles, providing reliable performance in industrial control and measurement applications. The device is RoHS 2 compliant and features low contact bounce of 5.0 ms maximum at 15 RPM, making it suitable for precision position sensing and user interface applications.
