DESCRIPTION

The 15KPA036C-SD-Q is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection applications. It delivers a maximum peak pulse power of 15 kW (10/1000 µs) and a maximum peak pulse current of 1 kA (8/20 µs), with a working peak reverse voltage of 36 V and a maximum clamping voltage of 55 V at peak pulse current. The device operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +175°C and features a steady-state power dissipation of 8 W at 25°C case temperature. Housed in a compact molded plastic DC-218 surface mount package with RoHS and AEC-Q101 compliance, this TVS diode is ideal for protecting sensitive electronic circuits in automotive, industrial, and consumer applications where transient voltage events pose a risk to circuit integrity.
