DESCRIPTION

The 2027-35-CLF is a 2-pole gas discharge tube designed for overvoltage and surge protection across telecommunications, industrial, commercial, consumer, and automotive electronics. It features an 8 mm diameter and 6 mm length with a DC sparkover voltage of 350 V (±15% @ 100 V/s) and impulse sparkover ratings of 600 V at 100 V/µs and 875 V at 1000 V/µs, providing reliable protection against transient surges. The device exhibits high surge current capability with ratings up to 25,000 A (8/20 µs) for single operation and maintains stable breakdown characteristics throughout its operational life. With insulation resistance exceeding 10¹° O, glow voltage greater than 70 V at 10 mA, and arc voltage exceeding 10 V at currents above 1 A, this tube is UL recognized and available in RoHS-compliant versions. Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with low capacitance (<1 pF at 1 MHz), the 2027-35-CLF is ideal for protecting sensitive equipment from lightning strikes, switching transients, and other electrical surges in demanding environments.
