DESCRIPTION

The 3057J-1-503 is a Trimpot® trimming potentiometer manufactured by Bourns, designed for precision resistance adjustment in industrial applications. This multiturn wirewound device features a 50 kO standard resistance with ±5% tolerance, 22 turns of adjustment travel, and a nominal resolution of 0.24%. The potentiometer operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C with a temperature coefficient of ±50 ppm/°C, and is rated for 1 watt at 70°C. It incorporates solderable pins and flexible leads (7 strands of 30 AWG), a maximum torque of 8.0 oz-in., and meets RoHS compliance and U.L. 94V-0 flammability standards. The sealed construction with mechanical stops and 1,000 megohms minimum insulation resistance makes it suitable for demanding applications including instrumentation, signal processing, and industrial control systems where reliable, precise resistance adjustment is required.
