DESCRIPTION

The 3057Y-1-503 is a Trimpot® trimming potentiometer manufactured by Bourns, designed for precision resistance adjustment in industrial applications. This multiturn wirewound device features a 50 kO standard resistance with ±5% tolerance, 22 turns nominal adjustment travel, and a nominal resolution of 0.24%. The potentiometer operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C with a temperature coefficient of ±50 ppm/°C, and is rated for 1 watt power at 70°C. It provides 1,000 megohms minimum insulation resistance at 500 VDC and dielectric strength of 1,500 VAC at sea level, with sealed construction and RoHS compliance. The 3057Y style features compact dimensions with flexible leads (7 strands of 30 AWG) and is commonly used in instrumentation, signal conditioning, and calibration circuits where precise resistance trimming and long-term stability are required.
