DESCRIPTION

The 3214W-1-103G is a 5-turn Trimpot® trimming potentiometer manufactured by Bourns, featuring a 10 kO standard resistance value with ±10% tolerance and top-adjust configuration in a sealed, surface-mount 4 mm square package. This cermet-based industrial trimmer is halogen-free and RoHS compliant, designed to withstand board wash processing with a pick-and-place centering design and flush adjustment capability. The device operates across a temperature range of -65°C to +150°C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 ppm/°C, offering essentially infinite resolution and 500 VDC insulation resistance of 100 MO minimum. With a dielectric strength of 600 VAC at sea level and contact resistance variation of 3% or 3 ohms maximum, this trimmer is ideal for precision calibration and tuning applications in industrial electronics, instrumentation, and consumer devices requiring reliable, compact adjustment mechanisms.
