DESCRIPTION

The 3224W-2-104E is a 4 mm SMD Trimpot® trimming potentiometer featuring a sealed, multiturn cermet design optimized for surface-mount assembly and industrial environments. It offers a standard resistance range of 10 ohms to 2 megohms with ±10% tolerance, essentially infinite resolution, and a low contact resistance variation of 1% or 3 ohms maximum. The device is rated for 0.25 watts at 85°C and 0 watts at 150°C, operates across a temperature range of -65°C to +150°C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 ppm/°C, and features a 12-turn adjustment angle with a maximum torque of 180 g-cm. The sealed construction withstands board wash processing, meets EIA/EIAJ/IPC/VECI SMD standards, and is RoHS compliant and halogen-free, making it suitable for precision trimming applications in industrial control systems, instrumentation, and consumer electronics requiring reliable performance in harsh environments.
