DESCRIPTION

The 3224X-1-504E is a surface-mount 4 mm square multiturn cermet trimming potentiometer designed for industrial applications with sealed construction to withstand board wash processing. It features a 500 kO resistance value with ±10% tolerance, 12-turn adjustment angle, and low contact resistance variation of 1% or 3 ohms maximum. The device operates over a temperature range of -65°C to +150°C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 ppm/°C, and is rated for 0.25 watts at 85°C. The top-adjust design with 0.6 mm wide by 0.5 mm deep adjustment slot meets EIA/EIAJ/IPC/VECI SMD standards and is RoHS compliant with halogen-free construction. This trimmer is ideal for precision calibration and tuning applications in industrial equipment, instrumentation, and consumer electronics requiring reliable performance in harsh environments.
