DESCRIPTION

The 5254-RC is a through-hole hash choke from the 5200 series designed for current handling and filtering applications. It provides a nominal inductance of 250 µH with a ±20% tolerance, tested at a frequency of 1.0 KHz. This component is rated for a DC current of 2.5 A and has a maximum DC resistance of 0.17 Ω. Constructed with a ferrite core and 20 AWG enameled copper wire, it is designed to operate reliably across a temperature range of -55 °C to +105 °C. The 5254-RC is well-suited for use as an EMI filter, output choke, or smoothing coil in a variety of electronic circuits.
