DESCRIPTION

The 78F102J-RC is a conformal coated RF choke inductor designed for filtering and energy storage in DC/DC converters, power supplies, and general-purpose applications. This component features a 1000 µH inductance value with ±5% tolerance, a quality factor (Q) of 60 at 0.79 MHz test frequency, and a self-resonant frequency (SRF) of 1.20 MHz. The inductor has a DC resistance (DCR) of 31.4 O and supports a rated DC current (IDC) of 60 mA, with a maximum temperature rise of 35°C at rated current. The device operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and features an epoxy resin conformal coating over a ferrite DR core with enamelled copper wire windings and Cu/Ni/Sn terminals. Its high inductance value and low current rating make it suitable for low-power filtering applications where compact size and conformal coating protection are required.
