The 78F3R3J-RC is a conformal coated RF choke inductor from Bourns' 78F Series, designed for RF filtering and power supply applications. It features an inductance value of 3.3 µH (±5% tolerance) with a quality factor (Q) of 50 at 7.9 MHz test frequency, a self-resonant frequency (SRF) of 60 MHz, and a DC resistance (DCR) of 0.30 O. The component is rated for a maximum DC current (IDC) of 575 mA and offers a dielectric strength of 500 VRMS. The inductor utilizes a ferrite DR core with enamelled copper wire windings, Cu/Ni/Sn terminals, and an epoxy resin conformal coating for environmental protection. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C (including a 35°C temperature rise at rated current), making it suitable for DC/DC converters, power supplies, and general RF filtering applications where compact size and high reliability are required.
