The 78F820J-RC is a conformal coated RF choke inductor designed for filtering and energy storage in DC/DC converters, power supplies, and general-purpose applications. It features an inductance value of 82 µH (±5%) with a quality factor (Q) of 60 at 2.5 MHz test frequency, a self-resonant frequency (SRF) of 6.0 MHz, and a DC resistance (DCR) of 3.6 O. The device is rated for a maximum DC current (IDC) of 175 mA and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C, including a 35°C temperature rise at rated current. The inductor utilizes a ferrite DR core with enameled copper wire windings, Cu/Ni/Sn terminals, and an epoxy resin conformal coating for environmental protection, making it suitable for demanding power management and RF filtering applications.
