DESCRIPTION

The 78FR22K-RC is a conformal coated RF choke from Bourns' 78F Series, designed for RF filtering and EMI suppression in power conversion circuits. It features an inductance value of 0.22 µH ±10% with a quality factor (Q) of 40 at 25 MHz test frequency, a self-resonant frequency (SRF) of 380 MHz, and a DC resistance (DCR) of 0.075 O. The component supports a maximum DC current (IDC) of 1150 mA and provides a dielectric strength rating of 500 VRMS, with an operating temperature range from -55°C to +105°C. The choke is constructed with a ferrite DR core, enamelled copper wire, and Cu/Ni/Sn terminals, all protected by an epoxy resin conformal coating for enhanced reliability. It is ideal for use in DC/DC converters, power supplies, and general RF filtering applications where compact size and high-frequency performance are required.
