DESCRIPTION

The 79F470K-RC is a conformal coated RF choke inductor designed for RF filtering and power supply applications. It features an inductance value of 47 µH with ±10% tolerance, a minimum quality factor (Q) of 40 at 2.5 MHz test frequency, and a self-resonant frequency (SRF) of 12 MHz minimum. The component has a DC resistance of 5.8 O and supports a maximum DC current (IDC) of 70 mA, with a dielectric strength of 500 VRMS. The inductor utilizes a ferrite DR core with enameled copper wire windings, Cu/Ni/Sn terminals, and an epoxy resin conformal coating for environmental protection. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C (including 35°C temperature rise at rated current), making it suitable for DC/DC converters, power supplies, and general RF filtering applications.
