DESCRIPTION

CD-DF406SL is a surface mount bridge rectifier diode designed for rectification applications in compact electronic equipment. It features a maximum average forward rectified current of 4.0 A at 55°C, a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600 V, and a low forward voltage of 0.86 to 0.90 V (typical to maximum) at 2 A, making it highly efficient with low power loss. The device is housed in a compact chip package measuring 0.41" × 0.32" (10.4 to 10.6 mm × 5.0 to 5.2 mm), offering significant PCB real estate savings compared to standard parts. Operating temperature range spans -55°C to +175°C, with thermal resistance of 35°C/W (junction to air) and 15°C/W (junction to lead). This RoHS-compliant component is ideal for AC-operated products, computer monitors, set-top boxes, and cable modems where compact size and high efficiency are required.
