DESCRIPTION

CSS4J-4026R-L500FE is a precision current sense resistor from Bourns' CSS4J-4026 series, featuring a nominal resistance of 0.5 mO with a 5 W power rating at 70°C. The device employs an EB-welded metal strip construction with Cu-Mn resistive alloy, delivering excellent long-term stability and low thermal EMF characteristics. It operates across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +170°C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 PPM/°C (20–60°C), inductance below 3 nH, and resistance tolerance options of ±1% or ±5%. The resistor is RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and AEC-Q200 qualified, making it suitable for automotive and high-reliability applications requiring precise current monitoring in power management, battery management systems, and motor control circuits.
