DESCRIPTION

The MF-R040-0-17 is a PTC resettable fuse that provides reliable, renewable overcurrent protection. It features a hold current of 0.40 A and a trip current of 0.80 A at 23°C, with a maximum operating voltage of 60V. This device has an initial resistance between 0.52 and 0.86 ohms and a maximum trip time of 3.8 seconds at 2.0 amps. As an AEC-Q200 compliant component with straight leads, it is suitable for automotive and general electronics applications. Its resettable nature offers a significant advantage over single-use fuses in protecting low-voltage power supplies, computers, and peripherals.
