DESCRIPTION

MF-USML250-2 is a low-ohmic PTC resettable fuse designed for thermal and overcurrent protection in compact electronic applications. This surface mount device features a 1210 footprint with ultra-low resistance of 0.0045 Ohms at 23°C, a hold current (Ihold) of 2.50 A, and a trip current (Itrip) of 5.00 A, with a maximum voltage rating of 6 V and current rating of 50 A. The device exhibits a maximum time to trip of 8.00 seconds at 23°C and typical tripped power dissipation of 0.8 W, with thermal derating characteristics that allow operation across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. The MF-USML250-2 is RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and packaged in tape and reel format per EIA 481 standard, making it ideal for thermal protection in Li-ion battery packs, USB port protection (USB 2.0, 3.0, and OTG), game consoles, PC motherboards, mobile phones, and digital cameras.
