DESCRIPTION

MH2029-400Y is a high-current chip ferrite bead from Bourns' MH Series designed for electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression on power supply lines, IC power lines, and signal lines. The device features an impedance of 40 O (±25%) at 100 MHz with a maximum DC resistance of 20 mO and a maximum rated DC current of 5.0 A, enabling effective noise filtering in high-current applications. It exhibits high resistance to heat and humidity, mechanical shock, and pressure, with accurate dimensions optimized for automatic surface mounting. The ferrite core with silver or silver/palladium external conductor and silver/nickel/tin terminals ensures reliable performance across the operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. This component is ideal for applications requiring compact, high-performance EMI filtering in power distribution and signal integrity circuits.
