DESCRIPTION

MOV-14D201K is a 14 mm metal oxide varistor from Bourns' MOV-14DxxxK series designed to protect against overvoltage transients such as lightning, power contact, and power induction. The device features a maximum continuous voltage of 130 V (r.m.s.), a nominal varistor voltage of 200 V with ±10% tolerance, and a maximum peak current rating of 225 A. It exhibits fast response times of 10–25 ns and high energy absorption capability with a maximum peak energy of 340 J (8/20 µs waveform). The varistor operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and is RoHS compliant with UL 1449 certification, making it suitable for power supplies, power systems, line voltage applications, telecom systems, and white goods/appliances.
